Briefly describe the working mechanism of pulse bag dust collector

The pulse bag dust collector is a new type of pulse bag dust collector developed by drawing on domestic advanced dust removal technology. It is widely used in flue gas treatment in power, building materials, metallurgy, coking, boiler, chemical industry and other industries, with a dust removal efficiency of 96%.

Working mechanism

The dust-containing flue gas passes through the filter material, and the dust particles are filtered down. The filter material captures coarse dust mainly by inertial collision, and captures fine dust mainly by dispersion and screening. The dust layer of the filter material also has a specific filtering effect. The dust removal effect of the bag dust collector is related to many factors, but it mainly depends on the filter material. The filter material of the bag dust collector is a cloth or felt woven from synthetic fiber, fiber or glass fiber.

The cloth or felt is then sewn into a cylindrical or flat filter bag. According to the nature of the flue gas, the filter material suitable for the application conditions is selected. Normally, when the flue gas temperature is lower than 120℃ and the filter material is required to be acid-resistant and durable, polyester flannel and polyester needle felt are often used; when dealing with high-temperature flue gas (< 250℃), graphitized glass cloth is mainly used; in some special environments, carbon fiber filter material is used. It is very important to control the speed of flue gas passing through the filter material (called filtration speed) during the operation of the bag filter. Generally, the filtration speed is 0.5-2m/min, and the efficiency can reach more than 85% for particles larger than 0.1m, and the structural resistance loss is about 980-I470Pa.

It is suitable for capturing fine, dry, non-fibrous dust. The filter bag is made of textile filter cloth or non-textile felt, and uses the filtering effect of fiber fabric to filter dust-containing gas. When the dust-containing gas enters the dust collector, the large and bulky dust settles down due to the effect of gravity and falls into the ash hopper. When the gas containing finer dust passes through the filter material, the dust is retained, so that the gas is purified.

The dust removal efficiency of ordinary new filter materials is not high enough. After the filter material is used for a period of time, due to the effects of screening, collision, retention, dispersion, static electricity, etc., a layer of dust is stored on the surface of the filter bag. This layer of dust is called the primary layer. In the subsequent operation process, the primary layer becomes the main filtering layer of the filter material. Relying on the effect of the primary layer, the filter material with a larger mesh can also obtain a higher filtering efficiency.
