Stand-alone dust removal equipment, is the equipment that separates dust from the flue gas, also called dust collector or dust removal equipment. Electrostatic precipitator dust removal efficiency is higher, but its dust removal efficiency is greatly affected by the specific resistance of the dust, easy to lead to the dust removal efficiency is not stable. 1990s, the electrostatic precipitator in the thermal power generation, cement kilns, such as high temperature, large flue gas volume, the working conditions of the more complex dust pollution control is widely used. Bag filter uses fibre filter media to capture solid particles in the dusty gas, forming a filter dust cake, and further filtering fine dust particles through the filter dust cake to achieve the purpose of dust removal. Bag filter technology can achieve high dust removal efficiency stably, the dust emission can reach 5mg/m3 or less, and the dust removal efficiency is not affected by the specific resistance of dust and other dust characteristics. Generally speaking, dust with a particle size of less than 10 microns (i.e. respirable particles) has a greater impact on human health, and baghouse dust collectors have a high separation efficiency for respirable particles. Baghouse dust collector in the treatment of room temperature flue gas (<120 ℃) pollution in the application range is gradually expanding, with the filter media and pulse cleaning and other technology further development, baghouse dust collector with excellent dust removal performance, in the treatment of high temperature, flue gas treatment more and more widely used.

With the acceleration of industrialisation and urbanisation, China's air pollution is becoming increasingly serious, air pollutant emission standards are becoming increasingly stringent, the efficiency of the electrostatic precipitator, baghouse dust collector is widely used. At present, electrostatic precipitator and bag filter is the mainstream dust removal technology in China.
