Working mechanism
Dust-containing flue gas passes through the filter material, dust particles are filtered down, the filter material captures coarse-grained dust mainly by inertial collision, and captures fine-grained dust mainly by diffusion and sieving effect. The dust layer of the filter material also has a filtering effect. The advantages and disadvantages of the dust removal effect of the bag filter with a variety of factors, but mainly depends on the filter media. The filter material of bag filter is synthetic fibre, fibre or glass fibre woven cloth or felt.
According to the need to sew the cloth or felt into a cylinder or flat filter bag. Depending on the nature of the flue gas, the filter media is selected to suit the application conditions. Usually, in the flue gas temperature below 120 ℃, the requirements of the filter media with acid resistance and sex of the case, often choose polyester flannel and polyester needle felt; in the treatment of high temperature flue gas (< 250 ℃), the main choice of graphite glass cloth; in some cases, the choice of carbon fibre filter media, etc.. Bag filter operation to control the speed of flue gas through the filter media (known as the filtration rate) is quite important. It is suitable for capturing fine, dry, non-fibrous dust. The filter bag is made of textile filter cloth or non-textile felt, using the filtering effect of the fibre fabric to filter the dusty gas. When the dusty gas enters the dust collector, the dust with large particles and large specific gravity settles down and falls into the dust hopper due to gravity, and the gas containing fine dust is blocked when it passes through the filter media, so that the gas can be purified.
Generally the dust removal efficiency of new filter media is not high enough. After a period of time after the use of filter media, due to screening, collision, retention, diffusion, electrostatic effects, the filter bag surface accumulates a layer of dust, this layer of dust is called the initial layer, in the subsequent movement, the initial layer of the filter media has become the main filtration layer, relying on the role of the initial layer of the filter media with larger mesh can also obtain a higher filtration efficiency.
With the accumulation of dust on the surface of the filter media, the efficiency and resistance of the bag filter are increased accordingly, when the pressure difference between the two sides of the filter media is very large, some of the fine dust particles that have been attached to the filter media will be squeezed through, so that the efficiency of the bag filter decreases. In addition, the bag filter resistance is too high will make the dust removal system air volume significantly decreased. Therefore, after the resistance of the bag filter reaches the value, it is necessary to clear the dust in time. When clearing the dust, the initial layer should not be destroyed, so as not to reduce the efficiency.
